31 October 2022 - An end. A beginning.

 It's the last day of October.

Tomorrow is the first day of November.

Finite is fact in life.

If it's to be done, it ought to be moved on now. 

Results may not be seen for a long time in some cases, but there is always action to be taken now.


This morning when I was sharing a few thoughts with you, I could swear that you were trying to speak to me :)

 

I know, I know, it's like that puddle of water in the desert. A mirage. Too good to be true.


No denying the range of emotions expressed though!


And that amazing smile you broke into at one point!

Later in the day today, whilst I stopped in to a building in the city centre, I saw a butterfly perched on a closed glass window of the front door.
It looked like it wanted an out. Fluttering it's wings, but not moving. (Unless it had just read Jonathon Livingstone Seagull, and was making other plans).
In any event, I opened the door for the butterfly.
But it stayed put.

It struck me that this was an example of the old saying "You can take a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink".
That is, opportunities can be given, but they are useless unless they are taken.
Taking the opportunities, requires Action.
That's right sweetheart, there is something of a theme developing:)



It's true sweetheart that early on in life, the responsibility for action is first and foremost on us as adults.
In time however, the baton is passed on.
The earlier you learn to be responsible, and to take responsible action. the more wonderful your life will be.
It is not easy to be a responsible person darling. But it is incredibly fulfilling. And the fulfilment doesn't have an expiry date. It keeps giving and giving darling.


Oftentimes as you grow sweetheart, we will do what we do for you in the background. 
We will do all that we can to be the support that you need. So that you can flourish. Responsibly.



You are right darling, to be able to take responsible action, you need energy.

To have energy, you need to be well rested.

Enjoy the recharge.


You can do it!

Challenges are a part of life. Being unwell is a challenge that impacts every other challenge... and more particularly, it impacts the ability to resolve every other life challenge faced. 18 August 2023 - Mira turned one

Today was a Friday. In other words, a 'typical work day'. So, invites to your birthday were dished out for tomorrow; a day late, but accounting for availability. Well well well, weren't we in for a surprise. A veritably delightful one. Or ones. Neighbours stopping by before 7:30am, with cakes and gifts for you... And with your grandma present too The surprise view from the window! Dressed and ready to glow... One direction. Energy transfer. More visitors arrive of a morning. That window view, unencumbered by a window. And the Russian version above the front entrance! Mum playing after having hung the Russian version; pretending to play judge. At the front door. A lunchtime visitor; who used to teach your sister Dunia at preschool came by. A chat to family in Oz. Late afternoon, even more guests and gifts. 02 January 2023 - My friends are your friends

There is a lot that I would love to give you and your sister. Family ties is something that is a given, and so too blood relatives. Beyond the family, there are others from who you can learn and find guidance with. Some of those people were on a call moments ago. You got to join the call. I hope that your sister can join in due course too. It's been on the cards for a long time now. Everyone on the call today is able teach you something that will be life enhancing. That is a gift. Earlier today, you enjoyed visits from both family and friends. In Russian, there is an expression which translates as "The Sweet Table" or "The Table of Sweets".
