It has the the lyrics: "Could you be, the most beautiful girl in the world"


When this tune reared it's head, in my head, today it came out as the thought:

"Could this be, the most beautiful sound in the world"


What instigated this moment?

I was knocked off balance...

The first instance wasn't captured on video. Who was to know???


What I can share for your 'recollection', is that today was:

the first time ever that we heard you LAUGH!!!


Captured breaking into laughter!


Going at it like Aunt Rabs & Aunt Eky!



Just like in this mum moment, a little before you cracked up: 

Motion, Vibrancy and Beauty, 

were manifested in your laugh!


May you find many reasons to laugh, to smile and to feel joy.

(Proviso being: never at someone's expense)





May your cup be filled and overflowing, such that you can generously share with others.

08 January 2025 - Re-Birth-day. Thank you

"Ready to unwrap something Dad?" Aunt Rabs dropped in on a call from Sitto. Mum and I, with You and AK. Your table is not only for consuming knowledge, But also for consuming fresh smoothies. Morning mat time. The best form of being up in arms 😊 Aunt Leila and the kids checked in. Uncle Walid ditto, only moments later. The in-laws dropped in. The fam in Oz checked in as I was en route home. To share moments with the kids, they repeated the delightful HB chorus performance. Ready to step out for a birthday lunch. Kids demands don't take a time out. The tree opposite our first table. You and Vasilisa met. Mum and AK enjoyed a beautifully illustrated and contemporary book. Us. At our second table. You got to have the tree and kids area as a direct extension of our spot. Magical, from the starters through to the desserts. You insisted on me having a slice of 'birthday' special banoffee. You created an additional play zone. The freedom to be, is marvellous. Back home....

A dream gift, Was the actual gift. Thanks to your Mum for honouring my love of family, and my love of art. She is a Jewel. Most fundamental, when thinking of gifts, it's with enormous gratitude that I can report that:  good health permeates our home. Beauty is blooming too. Morning time today, you helped prepare breakfast. Highlights included cracking the eggs, and whisking together the omelette ingredients. We later enjoyed the fresh outdoors. My coat came in handy: for you! What a bonus it was to have your grandparents come and join today. Grandad. Grandma. Celebrating with sushi! And with more family guests. Your grandmother's mother, and her sister & hubbie (& the youngest of their three kids). And more sushi. Did I mention sushi? ❤❤❤ PS: a letter-note-message was added, sealed & delivered with the Father's Day gift PS 2: looking back, at a memory; and looking forward, with hope. ❤❤❤
