Is it important to be serious?

Yes, and with a qualification.

It's important to be serious in your execution of what needs to be done consistently in order to achieve the life outcomes that you desire.


However, you do not need to be serious as a matter of your attitude to the world 

The embedded assumption here is that "serious = no smiles & a harsh demeanour".

On the contrary, you can choose seriously fun; both during (with the right work) and certainly after work duties!

Whilst on a call with you recently, your grandmother in Australia noticed something about the way you sit.

More particularly, the way in which you cross your legs as you stably sit.

It is a mirror image of how my paternal grandmother (Mahesney) used to always sit.


I hope you and your sister learn the value of both discipline and of "seriously fun".

I hope that you both work towards clarity, and that you are both not afraid to iterate and learn whilst on track to it.

Just as your sitting shows, I hope that you and your sister realize that you carry in you and with you many many generations of souls. Carry them forward proudly.

Awake. Already a ray of sunshine. Yet, could still do with a little more rest. I returned home near to lunch time, And encountered this scene. Mum's planned-for dessert... which had been left on the table with a cup of coffee... wasn't going to make it. Fate had it that... Your brother cried out for a feed... and She ably responded... and You executed on your plan ☺ Post meal, pure joy. There was also joy, when you stepped out and checked out your new contraption. Before hopping over to the raspberry garden. Early evening, the water melon left on the table was not left untouched. Yes, a theme is forming here... Ditto, the dinner time sushi. The chopsticks were used unorthodoxly, As the fish bits were harpooned. Then a return to civility. "What" you asked? What incivility? There is more than one way to do things in life. And, of course, you were right. ❤❤❤

Your Birthday morning, kicked off on the right note! Birthday dancing. Your musician Grandad, serenading you on your birthday.. Some of the delights enjoyed, thanks for the most part to Mum's efforts! Thanks to our family friend Abu Ali, Lebanese cuisine adorned the table! Beauty-full! A few at the table. Your maternal Uncle assisted as you tried on your doctor's outfit. I was in trouble... The last shot taken, before I was left wet and laughing. Balloons! Having a blast! Beauty and your Bro. The Grandma baked cake! Us. Those who shared the moments in-person. Mum & I bring out your cake. Time to blow out the candles!! Thank you to you and your siblings. A dream gift, Was the actual gift. Thanks to your Mum for honouring my love of family, and my love of art. She is a Jewel. Most fundamental, when thinking of gifts, it's with enormous gratitude that I can report that:  good health permeates our home. Beauty is blooming too. Morning time today, you helped prepare breakfast. Highlights included cracking the eggs, and whisking together the omelette ingredients. We later enjoyed the fresh outdoors. My coat came in handy: for you! What a bonus it was to have your grandparents come and join today. Grandad. Grandma. Celebrating with sushi! And with more family guests. Your grandmother's mother, and her sister & hubbie (& the youngest of their three kids). And more sushi.
