Every four years, something special happens to the calendar. An extra day is added to the end of February. Last year February had 28 days. Closed case. This year, it's a case of pick-a-boo. February 29 exists. We are amongst the lucky ones with all that we have... On this day, and on every other. I hope that you and your sister always remain fortunate enough to live in peace, in good health, and with a context that allows to both to create and to contribute. Whilst I am alive, I will do my best to make sure that these conditions exist. ❤❤❤

It is so amazing what humankind is already capable of. Think no further than the ultrasound machine today! It's breathtaking to even trying to imagine that you and your sister are growing into... in terms of a world in which you get the chance to live in and contribute to. As you know there is another sibling that we hope to see share the life ride with you both. It is indeed a rather serious topic. (..I let you set the energy here, after there was no response to that moments tickling attempts) We waited whilst Mum got checked on. Hers and your future sibling's health were bring checked on. Looking forward to seeing the three siblings loving one another's presence. ❤❤❤

This evening you got to explore a new space. It was a shopping centre that has a large playspace for kids. We were joined by friends, and Mum got a chance to grab a movie whilst we explored (& then you played). Bouncing. Riding. Back from hiding. With A & A. Fun is a something that many do not get to have, given war and the like. I hope that you and your sister both get to enjoy and learn to appreciate your lives. I hope that many moments in the future are shared by the two of you. ❤❤❤

There is a game that You and Mum play. You pretend to be a newborn baby... Mum wraps you up in a comfortable down duvet. The playtime begins. Back on the 18 of January, we had a set of professional family photographs taken. Your Mum got the actual prints back yesterday.  ...You and Mum ...You and I ...Mum, Dad, and ? Hoping that you and your sister, together with any future siblings, bond beautifully. ❤❤❤

Sundays are fun days. Whether it is during the morning walk, and adventuring. A surprise visit from your Uncle Vanya. Stepping out for a little family cafe time. ...enjoying Mum's glow whilst there ...smiling as you take selfies  ...catching you having a break from enjoyable eating  ...catching you back at it enjoyably eating  Strolling along mid-pit-stops. ...and enjoying a bird's eye view of the birds up above Or finally, ending up sharing a meal with the recently arrived parent's of a friend. A beautiful mosaic of a day. The type of day that I wish that you and your sister get to enjoy many of in your life-times. ❤❤❤

The dominant sentiment here is HOPE. Hope of good health, hope of quality & joyful shared times, and hope of a meaningful (& meaning filled) future. Happy Birthday Dunia! The colour of the rain in the morning. The colour of the sun in the eve. Always a blessing to be in yours and your sister's presence. Life comes to life. ❤❤❤

Diversity of emotions is itself an exploration. Sharing that exploration is a joy. Going from serious... To fun... To funny. The above were lovely moments from the morning walk. Later in the day, you had a dress and show session with Mum. Gorgeous. In motion. With Mum's beanie. May thoughtful and joyful explorations always be a part of yours and your sister's lives. ❤❤❤

Whilst Mum caught up on missed sleep, you offered Zhi-Zhi a start to the day that included Vitamin D. For a moment there, it looked she may have been up for it. A beautiful warm hug followed a couple of hours later, when the morning catch up happened. Early evening, dinner was shared with Mum's friend 'Aunt' Aya. Dance time was shared with her. Watching you replicate Mum's movement of reaching up to me, for a hand when getting up, was tooooo cute! Mamy moments in life are simple. And they make up much of life's fabric. I hope that you and your sister enjoy, and weave, many beautiful moments. ❤❤❤

You have the incredibly good fortune of having both of your maternal great-grandmothers still being alive. Recently Anna was here. Today it was Maria's turn! Your Mum and one of her grandmothers. Your newly-self-designated reading spot. A delight to see you in action here; As it was watching the lead up to it, as you freed up the space so that it could house you! Wishing all those who genuinely love you and your sister long lives. Wishing you both the beauty of being bathed in genuine love. Love that creates foundations from which to spring, and wings with which to fly. ❤❤❤

As you begin the day, Family in Australia is nearer to winding down. You helped your paternal grandmother with her unwind today, by sharing what you are up to of morning. Post chat, you shared some of your time with Dr Seuss! "Oh the places you'll go!" Moments after that, you went on a virtual trip; in which you shared time with your cousin Sophia. Later in the day, your taste buds went travelling; a common theme over these last 48 hours. This time, you got to taste a 'real' croissant! (Tres bien was your categorical conclusion). I hope that you and your sister enjoy many such days as today: ...constructing & sharing; ...reading & enjoying; and ...connecting with close family abroad. Plus, all the while: exploring new tastes in this world! ❤❤❤

In the glimpse of an eye, it passes. One of your great grandmother's, your paternal grandfather's mum, used to sit in an particular way. She would sit not only cross-legged, but cross-footed. Your instinctive posture creates beautiful associations. Just like the smoothie you enjoyed this morning, we are all blends. Blends of ingredients that have millennia of history attached to them. Celebrating one and a half year of your personal blender developing, we went to your favourite (as far as we can tell) cafe today. Three generations in the house. We shared the carrot (& passionfuit) cake with you. Typically only the adults share the spoils of celebration. Not this time! The pineapples and strawberries in this tea blend also got to your taste buds. So too the Napoleon cake. The growth and development of yourself and your sister are sources of joy and inspiration.
