Just because it's early morning, and not yet fully light, doesn't mean you can't kick off high energy! AK trying the flavour of an orange for the first time. Art meats an artwork. The anticipation reminded of the line, enunciated with Scottish accent, from the movie Austin Powers: "Get in my belly!" An angelic space being held, having slept and awoken on my chest. ❤❤❤

Whilst we are not currently in Australia, You occasionally enjoy an old episode or two of Play School. Today was one of those occasions. The yards, both front and back, are covered in autumn leaves. It's an uplifting sight. AK chose to look away, before going back into absorb-the-outdoors-mode. ❤❤❤

Morning hugs. No better way to energise tbe morning, And start the day! Eating with glee. The power of a smile... ...to inspire. Grandma in Oz getting a buzz interacting. A daily fix, for the most part. An autumn horse-ride, in the garden. ❤❤❤

Connecting. Actually, connected! A sign that the wake up was a little early this morning. I love being a place of rest and respite. Mum made something special today. Pumpkin and banana pikelets! (With a cheesecake like topping) Princess. Prince. Post bath. Post nap. ❤❤❤

"Some birds aren't meant to be caged", ..is a movie line that pierced me, with it's first encounter. Somehow, you have an interesting conscience on this point. It was beautiful outside. And yet solemn with cold. Autumn is a time of farewelling the once green. In a personification on the autumn principle, A dear friend's father, the Honourable Devan P Maistry, was farewelled today. A justice warrior, an artist & a musician, a man of depth & principle... a much loved father, an esteemed father-in-law, uncle looked up to as a light... a beloved grandfather. May Uncle Devan be resting in peace. ❤❤❤

Caught you, and Giant Ted, as you both caught up with the cast of Play School. A family selfie captured. Aya's Mum is away.  To help her cope, You made space for play. Adam Karim. Both growing and glowing. Amidst the autumn leaves. Ready to collect a few. "But where do I start??!!" Aya collected a bunch for her Mum. "This smells fishy". As you brother slept, His index finger pointed out: "What was he whispering to himself?" ❤❤❤

AK reaches his 6 months milestone today! A chat to Grandma in Oz kicked off the day. She'll be glad to know that the visit to the doctor a little later confirmed that all is ok... Weighing in at 8.3kg, and 'standing' at 69cm. Into the fresh morning air, wrapped with warmth. The autumn vibe evident in the garden. A fine young man in the making. Handsome little fellow. ❤❤❤

Whilst you love the aroma of freshly brewed coffee of a morning, It's only warm milk that is allowed at this point. Either way, you have the look and energy for a rock concert straight out of the gate! AK giving us the 'you talking to me?!' look first thing of a morning. Leg press?! The joy amidst your toys. ❤❤❤

Mum made an apple pie,  Using apples from our own garden. You did the initial taste test this morning. AK cheered you on. You were pondering your surrounds, during the afternoon autumn walk. At one with the earth, creating a cake (as per your words). Heading back, we saw a magical bridge linking a couple of trees. Someone tried something other than breast milk for the first time! Banana. ..the anticipation  ..the consumption  ..the aftermath ❤❤❤
