Before we knew it, it was back out to pick you up.

08 January 2025 - Re-Birth-day. Thank you

"Ready to unwrap something Dad?" Aunt Rabs dropped in on a call from Sitto. Mum and I, with You and AK. Your table is not only for consuming knowledge, But also for consuming fresh smoothies. Morning mat time. The best form of being up in arms 😊 Aunt Leila and the kids checked in. Uncle Walid ditto, only moments later. The in-laws dropped in. The fam in Oz checked in as I was en route home. To share moments with the kids, they repeated the delightful HB chorus performance. Ready to step out for a birthday lunch. Kids demands don't take a time out. The tree opposite our first table. You and Vasilisa met. Mum and AK enjoyed a beautifully illustrated and contemporary book. Us. At our second table. You got to have the tree and kids area as a direct extension of our spot. Magical, from the starters through to the desserts. You insisted on me having a slice of 'birthday' special banoffee. You created an additional play zone. The freedom to be, is marvellous. Back home....

21 October 2024 - Father's Day in Belarus

A dream gift, Was the actual gift. Thanks to your Mum for honouring my love of family, and my love of art. She is a Jewel. Most fundamental, when thinking of gifts, it's with enormous gratitude that I can report that:  good health permeates our home. Beauty is blooming too. Morning time today, you helped prepare breakfast. Highlights included cracking the eggs, and whisking together the omelette ingredients. We later enjoyed the fresh outdoors. My coat came in handy: for you! What a bonus it was to have your grandparents come and join today. Grandad. Grandma. Celebrating with sushi! And with more family guests. Your grandmother's mother, and her sister & hubbie (& the youngest of their three kids). And more sushi. Did I mention sushi? ❤❤❤ PS: a letter-note-message was added, sealed & delivered with the Father's Day gift PS 2: looking back, at a memory; and looking forward, with hope. ❤❤❤
