04 April 2026 - Aunt Eky's Birthday

I have the good fortune of having two amazing sisters. And you have the good fortune on having two amazing Aunts!

Your grandparents initially had 4 kids in 4 years.

Then there was a hiatus of over 5 years.


And then, the magical surprise of Aunt Ekraam (aka Eky, and aka Crumpet) was born.

We celebrated virtually; as we are not in Australia right now. 

She's a special one Aunt Eky. She is loving to all in the family, and her behaviour makes her a great source of pride.

Happy Birthday Crumpet!


Back here, you two got the gift of a couple of wooden chairs today (sawed out of trees that were, until today, a part of our garden).


You also both got marshmallows 😁

10 January 2026 - "Mrs Stone" and 40°C

Rising with the sun. In sync. Bottoms up. "Yummy". (Actually said) "More". (Ditto) Playing the lead role in Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat, during my school years, happened thanks to this special lady.  Fun experiences during music and fourth class at school were due to her too. She felt, and tried to help flourish, my instinct for music too. "Mrs Stone" is a very special one. She planted healthy seeds in the childhood mind, of this now grown up Dad of yours. Now connecting as Jane, it was a pleasure to be visited by this treasure. Triply so, given she made the effort to come all the way up from Tasmania! Delighted that her daughter Trudy came too. Eky and Rabs also have very fond memories. And they were updated with a few more today.  At Eky's place, instead of at school this time 😊 Farewell for now photos. Back to the heatwave romp.
