Morning air being taken in.


AK decided to join; and he decided that the only attire he needed was his set of gumboots.


Sit-to chatting, as AK looks to lock yours truly out of the house


Whilst at the 'linyaika' event (that is, the opening assembly and concert for the new academic year) at your sister's college, it was heartwarming to see her smiling and laughing with her friends.


So too, seeing You and AK embrace upon your return from preschool.

A little surprise to wake up to ..look who else woke up due to our singing  A team effort to put the candles out. Present opening was gotten straight into A team effort with the cake too. On and off screen. More sweets pre-preschool  Raining as you left for preschool with Mum  Celebrating at preschool Afternoon off preschool, so that we could share the day. The gifts from Yuyang. Out at lunch. Aung Rabs and fam called. New tests for a new epoch. The magical lady who gave birth to you: Mum. Fun photos whilst AK was sleeping. Leaving the restaurant. At the play-zone for an hour. More food, post the burning energy running around. AK's moves never far away. A hug that heals. 10 June 2026 - Happy 85th Jood-do!!!

I left a message in an intra-family chat today.  This was it's essence... "Families sometimes have the good fortune of having someone who changes the trajectory of the clan. When this is spoken of, it's usually due to changing the financial position of a family.. and often in consequence of that, other aspects of life too. New trajectories don't happen by chance. They come from a decision. And action. A dream. And execution. A vision. And actualisation. In the Matar family, there is a someone who changed the trajectory of his family. And that someone is your Grandfather Mohamad Matar.  Your Grandfather is a gift to us, and to the broader family. And he has gifted us with much.. kicking off with the commitment to have myself & your Uncles & Aunts receive the key to opening future doors. Namely, the best possible education; irrespective of the cost to Him and Grandma.. Most recently, he stood firm with support for us going out to Australia  Happy Birthday Grandad...
